Visual Literature: Chinese Folk Tales
I'm currently taking a class that focuses on visualizing Chinese Folk tales. Not just in an illustrative sense but also a symbolic sense. Our final projects consist of one essay and an art piece. Both can link to each other. So my focus will be on animals and how some are depicted as humble and honorable as well as deadly and mischiev
ous. There must be some sort of pattern a need for constant balance. Think Ying and Yang. Considering i'm a Theology minor, religion may come into play on some of my art works.
